Travelling Viet Nam Wall

We went on a ride, last week, to escort the Travelling Viet Nam Wall. What a beautiful site.

We met in Effingham, IL and escorted the wall to Troy, IL.

There were an estimated 1000 bikes participating. We were in front of the truck transporting the wall and when we looked back, we couldn't see the end of the caravan of bikes behind the wall.

Imagine the roar and rumble of all of those motorcycles. Deafening but music to the ears for anyone who rides.

Sturgis

Almost time for bikers to get ready for their annual trip to Sturgis.
We aren't going this year but sure did enjoy the trip in the past.
We lived in ND for many years and the Black Hills were a favorite getaway for a long week-end.
So much to do and see there.
For those of you who haven't been to Bike Week in Sturgis it's really hard to describe. You see pictures of all the bikes in town but you can't get the full effect from looking at a picture. It is an amazing sight.
